Senior Systems Administrator (Job ID: 200807-120-05)
This position will oversee the company’s network (LAN and VPN), internet, and telecommunication systems and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems.

Duties include:

• Patching of Windows 2003 and Linux Red Hat servers
• Administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Microsoft Active Directory
• Citrix maintenance (adding accounts, upgrades, trouble shooting, etc.)
• Data backup and recovery
• Firewall and VPN management
• Management of network routers and switches
• Implementation and management of network security solutions
• IT infrastructure monitoring and support
• Hardware and software audits for compliance with established standards, policies and procedures
• Infrastructure planning and design
• Development of new guidelines and procedures
• Software and hardware purchasing
• Management and tracking of hardware inventory and software licenses
• Installation and testing of hardware and software upgrades
• Help desk support

Job Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of six years experience in system administration
• Microsoft MCSE for Windows 2003 Server certification
• Experience managing network switches, routers and network security solutions including firewall, VPN, anti virus
• Demonstrated working knowledge with: Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows XP, Exchange 2003, Microsoft Active Directory
• Must be able to work on complex problems with minimum to no supervision
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• BS/BA in a computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Additional desired qualifications include the following:

• Experience with Citrix Metaframe and Linux Red Hat is highly desired
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Knowledge of VMWare
• Basic knowledge of data storage solutions
